Vitamin A

Vitamin A is fundamental for the production of white blood cells.  The best source of Vitamin A are fish, liver, eggs, and dairy products. Vitamin A builds resistance to infection, promotes growth and vitality, allows formation of visual purple in the eye, which counteracts night blindness and weak eyesight, promotes healthy skin.  The intake of up to 10,000 IU, twice the current recommended daily level, is thought to be safe.  However, one must consider that this amount alone from preformed Vitamin A (retinol) might increase the risk of hip fracture and birth defects when taking during pregnancy.
The recommended daily dose of Vitamin A is 2,300 IU for women and 3,000 IU for men.  Multivitamin including Vitamin A, should not contain more than 2,500 IU of Vitamin A from retinol. The balance should be beta carotene form.  Do not exceed recommended doses of Vitamin A for avoiding the risk of toxicity. 

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is an antioxidant essential for the immune system and a great aid in bodybuilding. Vitamin C helps the body warm up faster and thins out the synovial fluids responsible for join lubrication. Vitamin C maintains the body’s stores of collagen, a protein necessary for the formation of connective tissue in skin, ligaments, and bones.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is essential for the absorption of calcium by the body. It is also essential for many body functions, including the production of enzymes and absorption of protein. 

Vitamin E
